Sky James will fix it
Got in touch with Sky again today, four weeks today without any internet and not a call for over a week now. I had previous to this lots of urgent sounding types who sounded like movers and shakers from the order recovery team but apart from sounding urgent that’s all they seemed to do.
Anyway I got straight through to a nice chap called James and he looked into my case yet again. He apologised for the time they’d taken and put me on hold a couple of times while he sorted things out, fifteen minutes in and on hold and he managed (or someone did) to cut me off.
Never mind though as while I was dialling him back he rang me back and we carried on with the call.
A short call and he explained that everything was ready to go for a switch on next Tuesday. He said that there’d been a “mismatch in the system” and things were ready to progress, only he couldn’t do this work till next week. Anyway only ten minutes more on the phone, a pleasant chat and hopefully next week everything will be resolved and I’ll be all internetted up again.
